Cori || Dallas, Texas || Dallas Arboretum Senior Photography
The Dallas Arboretum is a favorite place of mine, both for photography and for leisure! In the Fall they have a beautiful pumpkin patch. They don’t use the term ‘pumpkin patch’ lightly either! I mean, they have THOUSANDS and thousands of pumpkins all over. It’s beautiful. Then in the Winter they have the ’12 days of Christmas’ life-size snow globes throughout the garden, also a must-see. Come Spring, thousands of tulips bloom drawing thousands of people in every year.
I was so excited when Cori mentioned wanting to use the Arboretum for her senior shoot! These tulips are just incredible and so perfect! Cori’s mom said that they have been taking their kids to the Arboretum annually, and we were able to get a photo in the same spot as a childhood photo was taken! The weather was great! It was a little overcast, but it helped make for great lighting. Cori’s mom, dad, and brother tagged along with us. Her dad and brother ventured off and enjoyed the garden while Cori and her mom and I walked around taking photos. Cori is going to be studying Accounting, but hasn’t chosen a school yet!
